Closing on the house is Tuesday. I am getting my furnace replaced and plumbing fixed. Got pretty good bids, now I am making all of the arrangements to get the work done. I plan to move in the 19-21 sometime. Still trying to figure out the moving part.
I had to drive to Colo. Springs to the bank to do a wire transfer for my downpayment. It was life in the big city, cuz a truck had an accident and I sat in traffice for an hour on I-25 near Fountain. The transfer took all of 10 minutes, but the trip took three hours. "Welcome to the big city"!!
Life is good, and I am itching to get my hands dirty!

I had the strangest thing happen the other day. I was reading the Pueblo Chieftain and there was an article about saying kind things. As I read it, I realized it was a friend from high school talking about our 5th grade class. What an irony! I haven't called him yet - I didn't even know he lived in Pueblo. It was a pretty good feeling!
Job prospects are on the back burner til I move in. I am still trying to figure out what will work, but now I am in the thick of the move. Will get onto it later.
